"Australian business as usual"

Films: Rogue (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: River/Cave

Height/Weight: Three times that of a saltwater crocodile.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: There will no shortage of crocodile movies for years to come, it seems. And why even bother changing them up at all? They're already perfect killing machines. Then again, sizing them up works just as well...

History: For a group of tourists, a river cruise in Kakadu National Park is a nice getaway. They even came here to see the crocodiles that inhabit it. Problem is that most of them have been driven out. An abnormally huge saltwater croc has made the river its domain, and now every single person on that boat is going to be thrust into a fight for survival.

Notable Kills: Grinds a dog into crunchy nothing with its jaws.

Final Fate: After trapping some people in its lair, the croc is tricked into charging at someone with a large pointed log in hand. The man survives, but the croc gets impaled through the head.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Some crocs just don't know when to quit. There should have been one Hell of a bounty on this one. It's huge, it can rip you to shreds, and very rarely do you get the impression that it isn't real. On land, you're in trouble. In the water, you're as good as dead.

Trivia: -This film was based on the saltwater crocodile known as Sweetheart, who was known for attacking boats whenever he saw one, and was impressively big himself. However, he was never recorded to have eaten anyone, and when he was captured, he drowned in the process. It would have played out more like a tragedy if they didn't turn him into a monster for the movie.

-During filming, an ACTUAL CROCODILE was thought to be swimming in the water, which kept Sam Worthington out of there for more than five hours. After director Greg McLean jumped in to give him confidence, they were informed that the croc had been relocated several weeks earlier.

This was so scary, but then the pun came. UGH.

Not very well, thank you kindly.

Screaming already? A little early for that.

It was like he was never there to begin with...the croc, on the other hand...

Is this a rejected 'Go the F to Sleep' verse?

The murderous version of 'Psyche'!

So much for Snoopy, I guess.
